A mutated version of Huw’s band “The Wild Eyes” has finally broken cover after a relatively short gestation period and has arrived fully formed with Huw once again fronting this new, ensemble on guitar ,words, tunes and razor vocals. The newly -minted “The Wild i” re-appeared after a previous Manchester gig to establish this new sound at Liverpool’s Invisible Wind Factory and remind old fans of the original band just what they have been missing, while adding an all new matured dynamic and a brand new set and sound. Ably assisted by a well-seasoned drumming sensation on skins with Steve taking on Neal’s old place on bass duties , while Sam moved to synths, these new songs were to be drum-driven.A psychedelic garage- punk miracle unfolded before the audience’s collective eyes. Everything gelled Here is the opener and the end , captured through the atmospheric haze on my little cell-phone …WARNING! Things might get noisier.
